History

In 1959, B-2 was formed from A Signal Corps and part of A Field Artillery. The new unit was called Buzzard B until it joined with Company G-3. At which time the name changed to Guzzlin' B-2. The unit would not remain Guzzlin' B-2 for long. After one year the name changed again. This time they were called Boozin' B-2. The outfit lived up to its name so much so that they faced a possible end in the 1970's.
However, B-2 survived to build a new reputation. In 1994 they changed their name back to Buzzard B and made a new, more politically correct, logo.
In 1997 the unit was disbanded for hazing and under age alcohol charges. Most of the fifty cadets were reassigned to a new unit, C-1. In 2003, company A-2 and C-1 combined to form the new B-2 Braves. In 2005 our name changed, as well as our reputation, to the Patriots.
As the B-2 Patriots our outfit has climbed the ladder of excellence. We post high grades and are considered by the Trigon to be one of the best outfits on the Quad.
